Many of you know that I've been wishing for snow since before Christmas. Well, I finally got my wish! It seems like EVERYONE got my wish as a matter of fact. I was reading the news this morning and came across
a story that says there was at least SOME snow in all 50 states (if you count the snow on the mountaintops in Hawaii). Isn't that crazy?
It started snowing here early yesterday morning.

Huge flakes fell from the sky.

The picnic table began to be covered.

Then the road and trees.

By early afternoon it was really getting thick.

The poor clothesline isn't holding up well.

It continued through the night.

Then this morning it finally quit.

Everything is white and beautiful...except for the dog.

And now the picnic table is much deeper in snow.

It's showing 28 degrees on my thermometer so I think the snow will stay with us even though the sun is shining brightly. Maybe later it will warm up and melt but I hope it stays a little while. (Sorry to those of you that have had snow all this time and just want it to go away. This is our first real snow here in South Georgia and I'm enjoying it!)
