I'm a little jealous

I was reading a story this morning about Miley Cyrus and Dolly Parton. It said that Dolly is Miley's 'fairy godmother'. Uh. I want Dolly to be MY fairy godmother!


I have seriously loved Dolly Parton since I was a small child. Of course I tried to sing like her but I failed...miserably. There's just not a voice like hers. At least not to me.


While I'm not a huge fan of Miley Cyrus, my granddaughter is and I've
always liked her father Billy Ray Cyrus.

"I'm her fairy godmother," exclaimed Dolly Parton after they recently performed together at Dollywood.

Parton has known Miley since she was a baby. Her dad, Billy Ray Cyrus, met Parton in the early 1990s when he shot to fame with "Achy Breaky Heart." He credits Parton for inspiring his acting career and is thankful that she has been a role model for Miley.

"It's great that she has someone like Dolly to idolize, someone to look up to," said Billy Ray in a recent phone interview "Having that type of influence in her life, it's so amazing and so special."

I think that's great too. Dolly has always been someone that I looked up to and I think she'd be a wonderful influence on anyone in her life.
