Amazing

I just got done watching yesterday's premier of The Amazing Race. Not having cable at this time I had to wait until today to watch it online. That's ok though. It certainly lived up to it's name for me! Amazing!

One of the reasons I love this show so much is all the places I get to see. I figure I'll never get to Argentina or China or ANY place outside of the United States but I feel like I get to visit them anyway. The views that Amazing Race provide me allow me to do that.

The preview was very exciting and filled with lots of action including a walk across a 120-foot cable the length of a football field suspended over a valley in Valparaiso, Chile. One couple, high school sweethearts Dana & Adrian, couldn't complete the challenge and were eliminated from the race.

There were also plenty of dumb moves which is another enjoyment I get out of the show. I figure if people do things that dumb on TV then I'm ok with the dumb things I do that no one ever sees. My top pick of dumb moves from this episode was when the father & daughter team, Steve & Allie, painted the inside of someone's home that wasn't part of the race.

But my favorite part was watching MY team, Jeff & Jordan from last season's Big Brother, win the first leg of the race! Woohoo guys! Keep up the great work! I can't wait to see what you do next Sunday!

Now, on a totally unrelated note but still amazing...

I received a prize from one of my Blogland friends, William. I think he is so sweet! Thank you so much William! Be sure to visit my Blog Love blog tomorrow where I will post my award and my thank you :) I would have posted it today but I have already written my post there and didn't see that I won an award until I got here (sorry honey). William writes beautiful poetry and short stories. If you'd like to visit him, click here.

That's it for today guys....I'll see you tomorrow!

This is AMAZING

Most of you know my TV loves so today's post should be no surprise to you.

I was reading all of my celebrity news and came across two stories that totally made me smile.

The first story was on People and involved my Simon Cowell. He is putting together a record to aid the victims in Haiti. Isn't that amazing?! I think it is. The Live-Aid style record will include the voices of Susan Boyle and Leona Lewis and is supposed to take place in the next few days.

He said, "We are going to do a single. I wanted to do something for Haiti, and we had a request from the Prime Minister to put a record together." And some of y'all say he has no heart. All I have to say about that is.....HA! Go Simon!

The second thing I saw (and honestly I don't remember WHERE I saw it but it made me jump right over to The Amazing Race on CBS) was this picture:

Look at the back row...Do you see who I see? :D

Yep! That's Jeff & Jordan from last season's Big Brother! Yay!! I can't wait to see this year's Amazing Race now!! It premiers on Valentine's Day (February 14th) and I'm here to tell you I won't miss it!

I ♥ Big Brother

Yes, I mean the television show.

I have been a big fan of Big Brother since it's debut in 2000. A big fan. As a matter of fact, I'm such a big fan that I follow them on MySpace, Twitter and Facebook. I've had the live feed several times. I get upset if I miss a show. Very upset. These people are my friends after all. I don't want to miss anything they say or do.

Ok, maybe they have no clue who I am or would ever call me their friend, but I am a fan and I do become emotionally involved with each and every one of them during the season. Because of all of this, it should be no surprise to you that I became very excited while reading a story on People Magazine's website this morning.

Let me show you what caught my attention...

Big Brother’s Jeff & Jordan: Officially Together!

Yes! I totally adored them on the show and thought they would make a terrific couple in real life!

When asked if they were together, Jordan said "Yes we are!". Jeff told People "“I liked her on the show, that was obvious, but after the show ended I liked her even more. I get in trouble when I say that, because Jordan is like, ‘You didn’t like me on the show, and now you like me!?’ but what I mean is that I like her even more now that I see who she is outside of the BB house.”"

I am so excited!! I hope it works out for them.
